Terms of Use
DailyOS is offered as a single-user planner in private beta. By installing or using the app you agree to the terms below.

Who provides the app
DailyOS is built and operated by an independent developer. In these terms, "we", "us" and "DailyOS" refer to that operator. "You" refers to the person installing or using the app.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use DailyOS on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the authentication between the app and the backend you connect it to.
Your backend, your data
DailyOS is designed to run against a backend you control or have been given access to. You are responsible for the data you put into that backend and for keeping its API key safe. If the backend is unreachable or returns an error, the app will surface that — but it cannot recover data the backend does not have.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use DailyOS to:
- Violate any applicable law, or infringe anyone's rights.
- Probe, scan, or attack the backend you connect to without authorisation.
- Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or designed to harm others.
- Resell, repackage, or distribute the app or its assets.
Beta status
DailyOS is currently in private beta. Features may change, disappear, or be reset between builds. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app or any of its features without notice during the beta period. Where reasonable we will notify beta users by email before doing so.
No warranty
DailyOS is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DailyOS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Prayer times
Prayer times are calculated by the public Aladhan API based on the location and method you select in Settings. The accuracy of those times depends on the calculation method, the coordinates you supply, and the data Aladhan returns. DailyOS surfaces those values without modification and is not a religious authority. For consequential decisions, confirm prayer times with your local source.
Termination
You can stop using DailyOS at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we cease offering the service. The sections that by their nature should survive termination — licence restrictions, no warranty, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at this URL with a "last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction unless a mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
